I was born and raised in Hopkins. Angela and I are raising our four kids in Minneapolis. This is our home.
I love it here and want Hennepin County to thrive now and in the future.
I spent my career as a federal prosecutor taking on violent criminals, fraudsters, and terrorists. I signed the federal indictment of Derick Chauvin for violating George Floyd’s civil rights. I know what a well-run prosecutor's office can do for a community, and I know Hennepin County isn't getting it.
We can build a country where safety is a right for everyone. Where no one is above the law, regardless of who they are or who they know. Where the County Attorney’s Office is guided by public safety, the public good, and the impartial pursuit of justice, not rhetoric or ideology.
That's a new day in Hennepin County. Together, we'll build it.
